VinUniversity Scholarship Program

The four tiers run from the Discipline's Honor Scholarship (50%, 60%, or 70% of tuition depending on the strength of the application) through the Dean's Distinction Scholarship (80% or 90% of tuition), the Provost's Merit Scholarship (100% of tuition), up to the President's Excellence Scholarship, which covers 100% of tuition plus roughly 34,965,000 VND (about USD 1,500) per year toward living costs for the small number of students judged to have truly exceptional academic and leadership profiles.

Because assessment happens automatically as part of the regular admissions review, applicants do not submit financial documents or write a separate scholarship essay; the admissions committee evaluates the same application package, comprising academic transcripts, standardized test scores where applicable, personal essays, and extracurricular record, for both an admission decision and a scholarship tier. This makes VinUniversity one of the more accessible high-value scholarship routes for Pakistani students applying to a modern, English-medium university in Southeast Asia, since there is no separate scholarship deadline to track or additional bureaucracy to navigate beyond the standard undergraduate application.

VinUniversity currently offers undergraduate programs across its College of Business Administration, College of Engineering and Computer Science, and College of Health Sciences (including a pre-med track and nursing), all delivered in English with a Western liberal-arts-influenced core curriculum, small class sizes, and access to Vingroup's ecosystem (VinFast, Vinmec hospital system, VinBigData) for internships and applied research. The campus, in Hanoi's Vinhomes Ocean Park area, is new and heavily invested, giving admitted students access to modern labs, dormitories, and a genuinely international student body.
