The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is a competitive initiative that allows undergraduate students from participating countries and regions to access Canada's research landscape. Top-ranked applicants participate in a 12-week research internship between May and October of each year under the supervision of Canadian academic institution faculty members.
The program is open to undergraduate students in a variety of academic disciplines, ranging from science, engineering, and mathematics to the humanities and social sciences. Internships take place at over 70 academic institutions across Canada, combining academic research with professional skills development courses and social activities.
