About the Forté Foundation MBA Fellows Program

🕐 3 min read

The Forté Foundation is a nonprofit consortium of leading business schools and corporations focused on increasing the number of women in business leadership roles. Its flagship MBA Fellows Program is not a single centrally-administered scholarship but a network-wide designation: each Forté partner business school selects its own Forté Fellows from its admitted MBA class and attaches a scholarship award, the amount and structure of which is determined by the individual school, not by Forté itself.

2

Being named a Forté Fellow carries benefits well beyond the scholarship funds. Fellows gain access to the Forté MBA Fellows conference, a structured mentorship program pairing them with women executives and alumnae, career development resources, and a large, active professional network across Forté's more than 50 partner schools worldwide, including many top-ranked programs in the United States, Canada, and Europe.

3

Because the actual scholarship amount and eligibility nuances are set by each business school, the value ranges widely - from partial tuition scholarships to, in some cases, fuller funding packages - depending on the specific MBA program and its Forté allocation for that year. Selection criteria are consistent across the network: exemplary leadership, a demonstrated commitment to advancing women in business, and a track record across academics, career, teamwork, and community involvement.

4

Importantly, Forté Fellows are selected from among admitted MBA applicants at partner schools, and the Foundation is explicit that applicants of all nationalities and gender identities are eligible to apply, making this a genuinely global program well suited to Pakistani MBA applicants, women and allies alike, targeting a Forté partner school.
