The Commonwealth Master's Scholarship, funded by the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and administered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, funds a one-year taught Master's degree at a UK university for citizens of eligible low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries. Pakistan is among the roughly 42 eligible countries.
Projects and courses need to align with one of the Commission's six development themes, covering areas like science and technology, health, governance, and crisis resilience. A defining eligibility requirement is genuine financial need: you must be able to show that you could not otherwise afford to study in the UK without this funding.
This scholarship does not accept applications directly. You apply through your country's national nominating agency, which shortlists candidates before submitting them to the Commission for final selection.
